Donor Privacy

 

Dylan’s Wings of Change is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We have developed this privacy policy to ensure our donor information is protected and will not be shared with any third party. All information concerning donors or prospective donors, including their addresses, email addresses and phone numbers, the names of their beneficiaries, etc., shall be kept strictly confidential by Dylan’s Wings of Change, our staff, volunteers, and fundraising service provider, unless permission is obtained from donors to release such information. It is our policy to never share or sell the names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses of our donors.

 

The types of donor information that Dylan’s Wings of Change collects and maintains includes:

  • Contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address

  • Giving information

  • Information on events attended, publications received, and special requests for program information

  • Information provided by the donor in the form of comments and suggestions

 

Dylan’s Wings of Change uses donors’ information to understand our donors’ interests in Dylan’s Wings of Change’s mission and to provide updates on the organization’s plans and activities. It is shared internally only on a “need-to-know” basis.

 

When a donor makes a contribution to Dylan’s Wings of Change using a credit card, the credit card information provided by the donor is stored in a confidential manner by our fundraising service provider. Dylan’s Wings of Change employees cannot access such information. 

 

It is our desire to not send unwanted mail to our donors, and we can be contacted to remove donors from our mailing list.

We do not collect personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. The information gathered through the Camp Wings of Friendship Application process is for Dylan’s Wings of Change's internal use only. Content and information gathered through this process is only shared with our partner The Friendship Journey and will not be shared with any third parties unless permission is granted.
